Visitor restrictions at Vestre Viken hospital trust

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus at the hospitals, Vestre Viken has implemented visitor restrictions with access control at all entrances.

Only patients needing assistance can have a companion with them at the hospital during their hospital stay. If you want to visit a patient admitted to the hospital, please call the relevant ward/department for further information about visiting times and visitor registration during the corona times.

Do not enter the hospital if you have

  • had a fever, cough, cold or heavy breathing within the last week
  • a confirmed case of coronavirus
  • had close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus within the last 10 days
  • been abroad within the last 10 days
